At Enfusia we love using ingredients that are beneficial.  Eucalyptus oil may have been discovered as early as the 1600s. Documented by historians in Australia in the 1700s, Eucalyptus oil originally was used for sinus relief. Soon after, its medicinal qualities were used for its antiseptic properties as well as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Eucalyptus oil has both topical and aromatic benefits.

The central chemical components of Eucalyptus oil are alpha-terpineol and eucalyptol, which give this essential oil a soothing, cooling vapor. Aromatically, the compounds of Eucalyptus oil create a clear, sharp, refreshing, and very distinctive smell. This helps promote feelings of a clear mind and relaxation.

Eucalyptus oil also contains strong purifying properties that are beneficial for the skin and can be used to cleanse surfaces and the air. Its cooling effects on the skin are desirable after long workouts, hot days, or if simply we aren’t feeling our best.
